Born into a military family in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1952, my family was always in transition from one province to another. Flying in my father’s small airplane over the Alberta prairies gave me a global perspective of the world and the desire to fly to exotic places like Qatar, Italy, Holland, Costa Rica, UK, Scotland and Mexico. For now I find my inspiration in the big sky of Lambton - Chatham - Kent and the flowers that I grow in my garden and in my dining room window. I like to paint in acrylic watercolour on canvas but recently, I have been exploring the medium of watercolour, pastels and pencil crayon drawing.
