Its mission is to serve its members and the public by establishing standards of Art Therapy education, professional competence and ethical practice. The Association is mandated to provide for the development, the promotion and the maintenance of the profession of Art Therapy in Ontario. mindyourmind is a website for youth and young adults who are experiencing mental health issues. This website was the recipient for the National media award in 2008. It was recognized by the Canadian Mental Health Society. This site is very comprehensive and cool. Youth and young adults may find the site very helpful in that it has links to finding Help, Personal Stories, Music, a Toolbox, the MYM Community and historical information about MYM. The site became a program of the Family Services of Thames Valley in 2006. It has many sponsors and continues to grow.

OACCPP members work in a variety of settings which include clinics, hospitals, colleges, school boards, counselling and psychotherapy centres, municipal EAP's, business and industry. About 60% are in private practice.
